Hmm . . . . the FJR has been considered a 'sport tourer' since 2002. I suppose it is a good thing it only weighs 635 pounds.

When it's all said and done the BMW RT will be the one with lots and lots of miles on the clock down the road. And like almost everyone here I just can't believe the FJR was omitted.

I would seriously like to see the REAL WHEEL horsepower numbers on these cars AFTER they were put on a modern Dyno. I guarantee these numbers would be much less than what this article is claiming.

Interesting that Nikola, as with many auto writers, fails to mention anything at all about reliability and quality. Most buyers that I know gladly sacrifice certain bells and whistles for that van that is built better and works day in and day out with fewer problems.

No one considered a 740lb bike a good sport tourer 8 months ago and no one does now. I don't agree with the article completely, but I feel the FJR are more capable TOURERS.... not worthwhile sport tourers.

My HiLux is a 1986 2.4L [22R] gas powered long bed. I'm the second owner; the first was a contractor that ran the 5 year depreciation out and traded it. Over 313K miles. I'm keeping it because I can't replace it. Even the Tacomas suffer from BLOAT [too high, too fat, etc.] Hoping somebody will "see the light" and fill the void.
